This is a typical Venetian boat that was used in the past by the ancient Venetians to trade local products in the lagoon and to fish. The boat was built entirely by hand in the mid-1900s by the most skilled shipwrights on the island of Chioggia. It is hand-decorated with motifs reminiscent of auspicious maritime figures, and you can still admire its main mast with its sail, the only source of propulsion at the time, now equipped with a small, environmentally friendly motor. The large, spacious boat offers a slow, romantic ride to the major islands of the lagoon.
